The Resurrections
The First Resurrection:
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God : and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. 2 SAMUEL 22:7-8
And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after the rain. 2 SAMUEL 23:4
, and for the footstool of our God, 1 CHRONICLES 28:2h
Issues of the Day of Messiah will manifest in a particular light in accordance with the covenants of promise in the days of old; these particular issues are to be seen in accordance with covenantal election. Covenantal election manifests in accordance with the hope of Abraham’s covenant as subjected to Moses’ covenant, hence a right order of hope. Some specifics of the first resurrection are around certain issues of a third temple of Moses’ covenant; such things are to be stewarded in a manner as to endure unto the end of this age.
The first resurrection is concerning some particulars of the appearing of Jesus Christ in the heights of the heavens, the sanctification of the third temple as in a manner of restoration, and the first resurrection judgments as concerning sustaining a right manner of life through ‘the seventh day’, that is, through the seventh set of one thousand years since God formed Adam out of the dust of the ground.
The Second Resurrection:
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. DANIEL 7:13-14
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed(1) and your name(2) remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. ISAIAH 66:22-23
Issues of the second resurrection are in accordance with the covenantal righteousness of Jerusalem during the seventh day, into the eight day--hence a continuation of certainies of creation in accordance with the renewal of the covenant God made with Moses.
Election in accordance with the covenantal righteousness of Jerusalem manifesting upon the eight day will confirm the continuance of creation in accordance with the covenant of creation. Some specifics of the eight day following the second resurrection manifest in accordance with Adam's covenant concerning the redemption of Adam's seed in accordance with jewish election, hence the revelation of the Father in and upon the second resurrection. The Son's righteousness in accordance with his law will continue to go forth into the nations following the second resurrection.
